My last Sunday at home in Queensland, next sunday I will be in Melbourne where I will be able to watch the cars cruise past the Trades Hall on a Sunday. Today however I expected to see more horses than trackwork at Flemington, after a considerable walk I came across a solitary set of Hoof prints.
My ankle injury has improved and I am back walking, at the same time the bushfire season has begun. It looks like a bad season for fires.
My plan had always been to begin the AAWT in November to catch the alpine flowers in Bloom, the weather outlook for Febuary next year looks pretty crap for a walk along the top of the range, so yet again I am planning to delay my trip. So I intend to do the Great Faser Island walk, and possibly visit Expedition national park early in the New Year. |
